B.C. Curriculum

Curriculum = content in a course or class

English, Mathematics and Science are all examples of courses taught in B.C. schools.

In addition to academically rigorous courses, many B.C. schools offer a wide-range of educational opportunities, such as:

-wood work, metal work, and auto mechanics

-arts and drama

-cooking

-computer coding

The B.C. school system is changing the curriculum to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in today’s world. The new curriculum offers a more flexible, personal, and engaging approach to learning. Literacy and mathematics will still be the foundation for B.C.’s curriculum.
